About the complex

Rising together since 2019

Desinganad Sahodaya School Complex is a collective forum of CBSE schools that believes education is not a race to the top, but a journey that we walk together.

The word Sahodaya means rising together, and this philosophy forms the very foundation of Desinganad Sahodaya. It reminds us that true progress in education is achieved not through individual success alone, but through shared growth: teachers supporting teachers, schools supporting schools, and students gaining confidence through the opportunities they receive together.

Desinganad Sahodaya was established in 2019 under the patronage of Professor K. Sasikumar, Secretary of the Sree Narayana Educational Society. With his vision and commitment to the holistic development of children, he laid a strong foundation for promoting excellence in both curricular and co-curricular activities.

The primary objective of Desinganad Sahodaya is to provide a common platform where schools can nurture and showcase the talents of students in academics, arts, sports and various co-curricular activities. It strives to bring every child into the limelight by creating opportunities for learning, participation and healthy competition.

Beyond student activities, Desinganad Sahodaya strengthens the professional growth of teachers by organising training programmes, workshops and collaborative initiatives. It fosters cordial relationships among member schools, recognises excellence through merit awards, and promotes the exchange of ideas and best practices.

Today, Desinganad Sahodaya School Complex continues to uphold the values of cooperation, collaboration and shared progress, ensuring that its member schools do not stand alone, but truly rise together.

How we work

District-level competitions

Wider opportunities than the State slate

Desinganad Sahodaya organises programmes and competitions at the district level in which all member schools are eligible to participate. Some of these are not included in the State Sahodaya competitions. They are conducted so that our students have wider opportunities to showcase their talents. Items exclusive to the district level are clearly marked throughout this site.

One manual, from school to State

District-level programmes strictly follow the State Sahodaya Manual on rules and regulations, eligibility criteria, marking schemes and time limits. Because students who win here step into the State competition next, the same yardstick applies at every stage, and no rule or judgement changes midway.
