On the faculty of Sree Narayana College, Kollam, when the Sree Narayana Educational Society was formed, and Secretary of the Sree Narayana Samskarika Samithy. He built its coaching for competitive examinations and founded the Students Forum at Kollam, which sent several of its members into the IAS.

Filing an appeal
Appeals against a Kalotsav result must reach the Chairman of the Appeal Committee within one hour of the announcement, accompanied by a fee of ₹2,000, and may be filed only by the Principal of the concerned school or the Team Manager. The Appeal Committee comprises the President, General Secretary and Treasurer of the Desinganad Sahodaya.
