Judging Criteria

Each competition has clear criteria with value points that guide the evaluation. Whether it is a drawing, a song, a dance or a speech, the same yardstick applies everywhere.

Art

English One Act Play

Notes for judges

Judges declare that none of their wards, relatives or students are participating in the competitions they judge, and that they have not judged Sahodaya-level competitions during the same academic year.
The profile and credentials of the judges are announced on stage before the judgement of each item begins.
Three lights govern the stage: green to begin, yellow at one minute remaining, red when the time limit is over. A participant who exceeds the time limit is not eligible for any prize. Where no light indicator is provided, a bell system is used.
If a technical fault occurs before half the time of an item has elapsed, that event is restarted.
Tabulation is done at the venue in the presence of the judges, and one of the judges announces the code number and grade of the winners on stage.
