Notes for judges

  • Judges declare that none of their wards, relatives or students are participating in the competitions they judge, and that they have not judged Sahodaya-level competitions during the same academic year.
  • The profile and credentials of the judges are announced on stage before the judgement of each item begins.
  • Three lights govern the stage: green to begin, yellow at one minute remaining, red when the time limit is over. A participant who exceeds the time limit is not eligible for any prize. Where no light indicator is provided, a bell system is used.
  • If a technical fault occurs before half the time of an item has elapsed, that event is restarted.
  • Tabulation is done at the venue in the presence of the judges, and one of the judges announces the code number and grade of the winners on stage.
